Annual Family Fishing Derby Saturday May 22, 2010 12:00 till 1:00 – Kids derby, with prizes for fish awarded at completion. Every kid receives a door prize. 1:00 till 2:00 – Lunch , bring a dish to share and table service. The club will furnish hot dogs and drinks. 2: 00 till 4:00 Adult derby, prizes awarded at the completion. Door prizes and 50/50 raffle drawing to finish the day. Plan to attend the derby this year and see some friends. We’ll stock some fresh fish a few days prior to the derby and everyone always brings great food. It’s worth your time to stop out for am few hours. The pond will be closed for a couple days just before the derby.

About the Club The club has a 10 acre pond, which is located an the west side of Findlay on CR 144 ( Morrical Blvd,). This the first county road west of I75 off of Sandusky St. Turn left onto CR 144. The pond is on the right side of the road about a quarter of a mile south of Sandusky St. The gate is controlled by a combination lock, which is changed on January 1st of every year. All members are required to sign in and out as well as record any fish caught and kept. There is a limit of five game fish, as listed in the rules, per membership per day. The club holds a family fishing derby every year, usually in May. This is a carry in picnic with the club furnishing hot dogs and drinks.
